Doing what i love...

I find myself mulling over these questions..."So when is the right time to pursue your passions if you never pursued them after school?"  "How many times are you going to repeat the same patterns and find yourself exactly where you left off the first time you realised you should consider changing direction?" "Do you need to experience more traumatic events or working environments not suited to you or roles accepted out of desperation for which instinctively you knew you were not the right fit for?" The most pertinent question is, when do you stop allowing FEAR to consume you and living life by your limiting beliefs? Ever since I can remember I have loved colourful décor and fashion styling accessories, interiors, fabrics, houses, and jewellery.

So this is the beginning of doing what i love.

I have memories of moving my room around from as young as seven years old until I had exhausted every possible space and direction the furniture could be placed in. My single bed was even placed in the corner of the room because that was the only space it hadn’t been in- even though I knew it looked out of place it was okay because all four walls had already hugged my bed🙈.

My desk was used for doing homework on but also became my dressing table, dressed with a piece of fabric I found in the linen cupboard which I hoped my mom didn’t notice was missing🙈. I so badly wanted one of those girly girl kidney shaped dressing tables with biggie best fabric… similar to this image I found on Pinterest:
Matching up rose print and polka dot fabrics for the linen.
I loved the idea of combining stripes with floral fabrics, paisleys, and polka dots and matching them up.

Matching up fabrics similar to these for a girls bedroom...sweet like sugar!

I dream't of having a bedroom with candy striped fabric and floral and polka dot bedding, with fairy lights strung around my
 headboard!

So I couldn’t wait to grow up and decorate to my heart’s content!
My time to SPARKLE and push forward beyond those limiting beliefs and fears is NOW!

KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!
